Born and raised in East Dallas, attended Arts Magnet 'til Junior Year, graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in '06 and attended Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory from '06-'10. I play cello, bass, keyboard, synth, percussion, vocal chords, and I'm a composer and producer (Ableton). Hi! 

An alumna of the DSO’s Young Strings program, Brianne Sargent began playing cello at age 12. Because of Young Strings she was able to solo with the Dallas Symphony in the Spring of 2005 for their Family Concert series to a sold-out audience. After studying at Booker T. Washington HSPVA, she completed her high school education at Interlochen Academy in Michigan. She graduated in 2010 from the Baldwin-Wallace Music Conservatory where she studied with Regina Mushabac, teaching apprentice to the legendary Janos Starker. Brianne Sargent was a guest artist for the 2017 Soluna Festival and the Sound Designer for the Indigenous Sci-Fi play "Where Earth Meets the Sky". Brianne also had a featured artist spotlight in Art and Seek in May of 2017, an article in Voyage Dallas Magazine in July 2018 and a spotlight in a Dallas Observer article in June of 2020 on Dallas Musicians sharing their stories of racism.
